Dear doctors, nurses and health personnel, while care for their patients, especially the most fragile, The Lord offers them the opportunity to continually renew their lives, nourishing it with gratitude, mercy and hope. He calls them to illuminate it with the humble awareness that nothing should be assumed and that every thing is a gift from God; to nourish it with that humanity that is experienced when we leave The masks fall and only what really matters remains, the small and large gestures of love.
Allow the presence of the sick to enter as a gift into your to heal their hearts, purifying them of all that is not charity and warming them with the burning and sweet fire of the compassion.
Dear sick brothers and sisters, at this momento in my life I share much with you: the experience of illness, of feeling weak, of depending on others formany things, of having need for support. I tis not always easy, but it is a school in which that we learn everyday to love and to let ourselves beloved, without pretending and without rejecting, without regretting and without despairing, grateful to God and to God. the brothers and sisters for the Good we receive, abandoned and trusting in what we have received. That is yet to come. The hospital room and bed of illness can be places where the voice of the Lordis heard, saying to us too: "I am about to do something new: now it's germinating, don't you see?" (Is43:19). And from that way to renew and streng then faith.
